2025 International WorkBoat Show Recap

This year’s WorkBoat Show had an incredible turnout, and talking with operators, port engineers, and fleet teams gave us a clear look at what people are dealing with on the water right now. It was one of those events where almost every conversation pointed in the same direction.

Everyone is asking for better visibility into the fluid levels that keep their vessels running.

What We Heard From Operators

Many operators told us they are still relying on old gauges, sticky floats, or manual checks to track fuel, ballast, freshwater, and hydraulic levels. It works until it doesn’t, and it definitely does not give the confidence crews want during long runs or busy days.

Fuel transfer came up the most. Operators want to know exactly what is happening from tank to tank. Good data removes guesswork, reduces stress, and keeps operations moving smoothly.

What Port Engineers Told Us

Port engineers shared a similar story. Their work depends on having information they can trust. Clear fluid data helps them plan maintenance, spot issues early, and keep vessels moving without unnecessary delays.

When the numbers are solid, it is much easier to coordinate with crews, make decisions, and stay ahead of problems before they grow.

How Command Supports These Needs

These conversations lined up perfectly with why we built the Command Platform. Better information leads to better decisions on the water and at the dock.

Contactless Radar Level Sensors

Accurate readings with no moving parts and stable performance even during heavy movement or vibration.

Smart Fluid and Fuel Management

Command provides alerts, fuel transfer logic, and real-time updates so crews always know what is happening.

Fleet-Level Visibility

Whether you are running a single vessel or an entire fleet, you can see levels, alerts, and trends from one simple dashboard.

Real-Time Interface

Clean and intuitive. The information you need, right when you need it.

Growing Interest in Uncrewed Marine Vessels

A growing number of teams at the show were working with drone boats and uncrewed surface vessels. These platforms rely heavily on accurate electrical, propulsion, and sensor data since all operation is remote.

We support these vessels with repair and upgrade services, along with Command integrations that provide real-time visibility into fluid levels, power systems, and mission status. As this segment grows, dependable data will play an even bigger role.

Where Things Are Heading

The takeaway from this year’s show was clear. The industry is pushing toward better data and more connected systems. Fluid level visibility is a foundational piece because it affects safety, efficiency, and maintenance planning across all types of operations.

Want Better Visibility Across Your Vessel or Fleet?

If you want to see how Command can bring clarity to your vessel or fleet, we would be happy to walk you through a demo and explore options for both new builds and refits.
