Command™ Hardware

Purpose-Built Infrastructure for Connected Vessels

The Problem

Software can only see what the hardware connects

Every vessel carries systems that speak different languages. Engine data, switching, sensors, and controls stay separated. Without an onboard host and interface, software sees only pieces of the vessel.

  • Critical vessel data remains locked in silos

  • Cloud only tools depend on connectivity

  • Generic gateways limit future control

Visibility

Hardware designed around the vessel

Command™ hardware is built for permanent onboard operation, connecting existing equipment while giving each integrated system a common place to communicate, record, and respond.

Local vessel hosting

Command™ runs onboard, keeping monitoring, data, and control available at the vessel.

Direct system data

Data comes directly from connected vessel systems, creating a trusted record for service and diagnostics.

Network integration

Connect CAN, J1939, NMEA 2000, Ethernet, sensors, and equipment through one architecture.

Expandable design

Add systems, data sources, and intelligence capabilities over time without replacing the onboard hardware.

Architecture

Two Modules. One Command™.

Foundation hosts Command™ onboard, Zipper connects vessel networks and equipment. Together, they provide the local layer for data, control, automation, and remote access.

Foundation Module

The onboard vessel host that runs Command™ locally, processes and stores system data, and coordinates monitoring, automation, and control across every connected system.

Zipper Module

The rugged interface between Foundation and vessel networks, bringing CAN, J1939, NMEA 2000, Ethernet, NMEA OneNet, Modbus, IO-Link, third-party analog sensors, and connected equipment into Command™.

Foundation

The onboard vessel host behind Command™

Foundation is the onboard host for Command™, providing the local computing, storage, connectivity, and processing required to unify vessel systems. It keeps the platform running at the vessel while supporting secure access from shore.

Zipper: The vessel interface layer

Zipper is the purpose-built interface between Foundation and existing vessel equipment. It moves data and commands across marine and industrial networks, linking them to Command™ and enabling monitoring, automation, and control without replacing systems already aboard.

Links vessel networks directly to Foundation

Supports CAN, J1939, NMEA 2000, and Ethernet

Expands Command™ across existing systems
